The Atlas HO ACF 60′ Double‑Door Auto Parts Boxcar tooling essentially shares the same running gear and body characteristics as other ACF 60′ double‑door boxcars from the Atlas Master line. Most of these releases we just decorated versions of the same model, so the features below represent what the #1670 tooling includes (even if #1670 itself is undecorated):

• Authentically detailed body with double sliding doors (prototype style), recessed panels, and realistic side detail.
• Prototypically designed roof and end details with crisp rivet and panel lines.
• 70‑ton roller‑bearing trucks with blackened metal wheels for smooth running and realistic appearance.
• Detailed die‑cast metal underframe adds weight for better tracking and reduces derailments.
• Separate brake system and air reservoir detail molded under the car, adding prototypical accuracy.
• Cushioned underframe with extended coupler pockets, helping with slack action and looks more realistic in a freight consist.
