About My Layout Progress Journal
My model railroad layout progress journal is a living, ongoing record of planning, building, and refining my model railroad layout from the ground up. This journal documents the entire process of bringing my HO Scale, Tuscola & Saginaw Bay Model Railroad to life. This journal includes my planning decisions, construction phases, wiring challenges, scenic development, and the occasional mistakes and corrections along the way. Rather than a finished showcase, this is a real-world build in progress.

Active Journal Monitoring
Active Journal Monitoring tracks the ongoing development of the layout as it progresses from concept to operation. Because model railroad construction often involves many interconnected projects occurring at different times, the status boxes provide a quick overview of what is currently being worked on, what has recently been completed, and what is planned next.
Current Project Snapshot
Finalization of trackplan design: Full-size track template in place for proof of concept and design improvement.
Benchwork Compleated: Cabinetry assembled and leveled. Drawers installed. Modules in place and leveled. Sub-roadbed and fascia installed.
Trackwork: Roadbed, hand-laying track and initial electrical preparation.
